This is the era of digital gadgets and electronic devices wherein your child spends most of the time glued to the electronic screen or is too busy with his/her academic studies. As parents, we are concerned and want our children to learn something new, to learn something worthwhile that will not only help him excel academically but also help in his/her overall personality development.

Art Hours believes that every person should have a hobby that will last with him/her for a lifetime. Cultivating a hobby will boost his/her self confidence, reduce negative stress, help him/her to socialize better, and will help in the overall growth and development as a better human being. Drawing and Sketching

Art hours offers step by step tutorial in drawing and sketching with crayons, pencil, pen and ink and different mediums. Learn to sketch from the scratch using proportion, scale, shading, applying textures, perspective and more. This activity is for kids who are seriously interested in sketching and want to pursue it seriously as a hobby or for improving their sketching skills. We, at Art Hours, make it sure that every student is guided to draw with ease step by step.

Painting

Painting is the first exposure for children to the world of Art. Art Hours aims at making this experience a fun filled one for all children. Apart from using the paint brush we have a lot of fun with paints such as marbling, thumb printing, hand printing, stamp printing, block printing, blow painting, printing with nature, stenciling, thumb painting and thousands of others techniques to keep the creative minds exploring and longing for more...All the students at Art Hours-Dubai, just love painting.

Origami

The manifold benefits of Origami have been proven time and again by various research and studies. Art Hours makes an attempt to transfer these benefits to all the children. We have children from 6 years onwards who enjoy this art of paper folding and yes, while we fold we discuss maths and geometry too!

Clay Modeling

Clay Modeling for children is more of play based learning. It is an art form that all kids love doing. The very act of holding clay between your palms has a calming effect on all. I have seen my own child engrossed with clay modeling for hours. It helps them think what they want to mould out of it and how they will do so....It is a creative way of promoting problem-solving skills at a young age.

Recycling / Waste to Best 

We often throw away the containers, cardboard, milk cartons and bottles, plastic items, and a lot of other unwanted items, which could actually be used to turn into something useful. Through such small recycling projects, we hope to make a small attempt from our side, to reduce the carbon footprints on our earth. Moreover, it gives a great satisfaction when you are turning trash into something useful and arty.

Hand Embroidery

Want to learn Hand Embroidery and don't know from where to start...Your search ends here. With over 1000s of stitches to choose from, Art Hours offers you step by step guidance and training in hand embroidery. Learn to make beautiful hand embroidery...it is laborious and challenging but with patience and practice it can be fun and the end result quite satisfying. The hand embroidery classes are for children from the age of 12 years onwards and for ladies too who are interested in this craft.

Creative Hand Lettering

You would have noticed creative hand lettering on street signs, movie posters, ad campaigns and everywhere around you. Art Hours offers classes to children on learning this technique in creative hand lettering. Creative Hand Lettering includes Calligraphy and Typography designs too. We have little students, as young as 6 years old, coming to the classes to improve their handwriting skills through calligraphy courses.
